The hostel had a great atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The common areas were cozy and had a unique vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. Plus, the hostel offered a wide range of amenities, including free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen.

There were a few downsides to my stay. The cleanliness of the hostel was not up to par, with some areas showing signs of neglect.

I got great value for my money at this quirky and charming hostel. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, within walking distance to town and with parking available for those with cars.

The breakfast experience could have been improved by covering the food waste buckets in the kitchen to minimize the presence of flies.

The location of the hostel is great, with a beautiful view of the city. the rooms are clean and tidy, with plenty of space and storage for your belongings. the bathrooms are visually unique and well-maintained, with interesting art to admire. the staff members are friendly and multilingual, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the hostel also offers free breakfast and convenient facilities like washing machines and a well-stocked kitchen.

The kitchen could use some improvements as it attracts flies and feels dark.

As a traveler in Australia, I had the pleasure of staying at The Palace Backpackers in Nelson for two nights. This quirky old house provided a unique and spacious room with excellent shower/toilet facilities. The car parking was convenient, despite the steep hill. The communal areas were lovely, and the staff was helpful. A short walk to a grocery shop and the complimentary cereal and toast for breakfast were great perks. The WiFi was reliable and overall, I enjoyed my stay.

    Can recommend this hotel.
